BROAD PEAK (8,048MTRS)

FALCON KANGORI (26,401FEET)

 

Broad peak also called Falcon kangari (8,048mtrs), (Falcon kangori 26,401feet). The first ascent was made by an Austrian Expedition led by Marcus Schmuk along with Hermann Buhl, Kurt Diemberger, & Fritz Wintersteller, on June 9/1857. They climbed the peak with the peak without using oxygen & High altitude porters. The Austrian route on the west face is a steep, broad ridge running directly from base camp at 15,000feet to a saddle at 26,000feet between the central & higher south summit. Climbing Conditions during the day, the temperature on the glacier will reach 90f & at night dropping to -20f.

On the peak the team could face storms & high winds with temperature dropping to -30f. By air or by road to Skardu & drive to Askoli by jeeps, the approach trek to base camp from Askoli, is the last village where start trek via Baltoro glacier 5 to 6 days to Broad peak Base camp.

Day 01 to 03 Arrival at Islamabad & complete the formalities & final preparations.

Day 04 to 06 Fly or drive to Skardu Via karakoram Highway.

Day 07 to 13 Trek to Base camp of Broad peak.

Day 14 to 40 Climbing Days.

Day 40 to 50 Return Islamabad.
